Execution Systems (MES) and is supported by the Itochu Europe plc on
behalf of Siemens PLM Software.
TEST Expert
Test Expert is the most widely used software of its kind in the PCB
industry.
As a fully integrated solution it allows electronics manufacturers to
go from design to a variety of test and inspection platforms in a
matter of minutes or hours rather than days.
It can be used to check testability of a board immediately after
release from design to understand test issues and to help correct or
redefine test strategies.
Test Expert can perform Probing design for Flying Probe or fixture
design for In-circuit test for 1 board, a panel of the same type or
multiple variants, creating Testability and test program information
and relevant fixture information.
New Product Introduction (NPI)
NPI begins early in the design cycle with the import of CAD and BOM
through Assembly and Documentation operations to the Repair process.
Factory definitions depending upon type of production and customer
allow Assembly processes to match customer needs for Basic
optimisation to quickly split parts among machines on the line without
having to use all of the Parametric optimisation which can
additionally be used to focus on reducing PCB cycle time and
changeover time.
Documentation and Viewing
