Itochu Europe adds a Showroom and Expands Test Programming Service with move to New Premises
July 2008 | posted by D Claxton

Itochu Europe, supplier of the Takaya flying probe test systems, have completed their move of the Tonbridge office to new premises on the 1st July. The move sees the company's Takaya flying test probe and software support unit remain in the county of Kent but takes them from Tonbridge to Staplehurst, south of Maidstone. Itochu's head office address in London remain unchanged along with bank details etc.

The new facility will enable Itochu to establish a dedicated showroom for its Takaya range as well as permitting the company to further develop its test programming services to the electronics industry in the British Isles.

In addition to the improved demonstration area Itochu will expanded it’s test programming facilities, We may even introduce a simulated production line for testing incorporating boundary scan and AOI and line tracebility and NPI software.

Graham South, Itochu's Takaya Business Development Manager, is pleased with the move “The relocation provides ITOCHU Europe Plc with larger premises allowing for further expansion. These new facilities are more customer friendly and enable us to demonstrate not just the equipment but also the recently added Siemens UGS manufacturing system software”.

For further information on Takaya systems, including the UGS manufacturing integration software, from Itochu contact Graham South gsouth@itochu.co.uk or call 01580 895550.
